Gumloop review: AI agents for the whole company, on the tools it uses
A capable agent builder with flexible approval rules and transparent unit pricing. It acts across the apps a company already rents rather than holding the records.

Gumloop calls itself the multiplayer AI agent builder: many people in a company describe agents in plain English and connect them to tools such as Slack, Gmail, Salesforce, HubSpot and Notion1.
Best for: Companies where many people should build AI agents on the SaaS tools already in use, such as Slack, Gmail, Salesforce and Notion.
Not the right fit for: Buyers who want a free plan, predictable flat pricing or roles and audit logs below Enterprise.
What Gumloop's agents do
Agents run on plain-English triggers, reuse shared skills and produce artefacts such as documents, dashboards and small apps. They can use a cloud browser and more than 100 MCP integrations1. Before a tool call such as sending an email or deleting a record, Gumloop can require approval: per app (always allow, ask each time, or ask only for writes and deletes), per tool or by conditional rule. Its documentation states that an agent never executes a gated tool call without explicit approval2.
How it is billed
The Pro plan starts at $37 a month after a 14-day trial, with 20,000 credits and unlimited agents and seats. Credits are indexed at $0.005; Gumloop charges list cost for model tokens, compute and paid tool calls plus an 8% orchestration fee, rising to 16% when the company brings its own API keys. When credits run out, agents stop until pay-as-you-go is enabled3. Role-based access, SAML and SCIM, audit logs, model access control and organisation-wide connector policies are Enterprise features, with an optional private cloud3.
Published evidence
- Gusto. Gumloop reports that Gusto generated more than $1.5 million in ARR in three months, cut partnership review preparation from 45 minutes to under five and raised win rates by 31%. Vendor-reported.4
Strengths and limits
Strengths

- Unlimited seats and agents on Pro, which suits company-wide use.
- Transparent unit: credits at $0.005, at list cost for model tokens plus a stated orchestration fee.
Limits
- No permanent free plan; the free option is a 14-day trial.
- When monthly credits run out, agents stop until pay-as-you-go is enabled.
- Role-based access, SSO, audit logs and organisation-wide connector policies are Enterprise features.
- The orchestration fee doubles from 8% to 16% when using your own API keys.
Choose another option if: You want the agents and the records in one system, or approvals with a full audit trail on a mid-market budget. OpenLazarus fits that better.
Pricing
Published: Pro from $37 a month for 20,000 credits; credits indexed at $0.005 with an 8% orchestration fee. Enterprise on request.
Questions to ask Gumloop
- How many credits does a typical run of our first agent use?
- Which apps should be set to "ask for writes and deletes"?
- Do we need Enterprise for audit logs and role-based access?
- What happens to scheduled work when credits run out mid-month?
